Rotating an Image

When viewing an image, you can rotate it to change its orientation. Be aware that OCR processing is affected by the orientation of the image: if an image is not in the correct orientation, the OCR process will not properly identify the characters on the page.

Note: Temporary image rotation may also be performed as an image is being processed for OCR, and solely for the purposes of OCR. The image orientation will not be permanently changed. For more information, see the Optimizing OCR Results topic.
