Print Dialog Box
The type of information that can be printed includes images and text, electronic files, all documents in a folder, or a list of folder contents or search results. See the page for the type of print operation you want to perform for instructions.
The Print dialog box contains the following options:
Printer: Which printer will be used, as well as information about the currently selected printer.
Properties: Additional printing options, which will vary by printer.
Print Range: The pages of the document to be printed.
- All: All pages in the selected document(s) will be printed.
- Current page: Only the current page will be printed. This option is only available when printing from an open document.
- Pages: Only specified pages in the document(s) will be printed. Pages can be specified in any combination of individual pages and page ranges. Multiple pages and/or page ranges should be separated by commas. For example, to print pages 1, 3, and 5 through 12, set this option to: 1, 3, 5-12.
Number of copies: The number of copies to be printed.
Collate: Copies of a document printed in binding order.
Print what: What will be included in the print job, such as images, text, images and text, or the electronic file.
Auto-detect page orientation: Automatically rotates images to an appropriate orientation. Selecting this option will override orientation settings defined by your printer. Text and electronic files are not affected by this option.
