Viewing Your Checked Out Documents
You can view a listing of the documents you have checked out from the Checked Out Documents dialog box.
Tip: You may also view your checked out documents by double-clicking them in the folder browser. You can identify the status of a document by its icon. A pencil on the document icon (e.g., ) indicates a checked-out document. A red check mark on the document icon (e.g.,
) indicates an electronic document that has been checked out by another user. In addition, the document viewer's header and status bars will both indicate if an open document is checked out.
To view and manage all of your checked out documents
- From the Tools menu, select Checked Out Documents....
- The Checked Out Documents dialog box will open.
- Review the details of your checked out documents:
- Name: The name of the document that is checked out.
- Path: The path to the Laserfiche folder where the document is stored.
- To review more detailed information about individual checked out documents, click the Details button. See Details About Checked Out Documents for more information.
- Optional: To check an open document in and save your changes, click the Check In button.
- Optional: To undo the checkout and discard your changes, click the Undo Check Out button.
