Modifying Tags on Multiple Entries

You can modify the tags applied to multiple entries (documents and/or folders) by opening the Tags dialog box in the folder browser with more than one entry selected. This allows you to set template and field information in bulk for multiple entries at once.

If all of the selected entries have a particular tag, the tag will be displayed as selected. If none of them do, the tag will be displayed as cleared. If one or more of the entries, but not all of them, have a particular tag, the tag will be partially selected. Selecting or clearing a tag will add or remove that tag from all selected entries.

Note: Although tags can be applied to folders as well as documents, tags are not inheritable. Applying a tag to a folder will not apply it to the documents within that folder.
