Quick Fields Sessions
A session contains configuration information that specifies how Quick Fields should handle documents. These settings include:
- How documents should be captured.
- Session permissions, such as the password assigned to the session and what actions scanner operators should be able to perform.
- How unidentified documents should be handled.
- Slide show settings.
- When processed documents should be sent to the repository (manually, immediately, at a specific date/time).
- Which processes should be applied to documents prior to classification.
- The document classes that should exist in a session. A document class specifies the processes and image enhancements that should be used during the identification, processing, and storage stages. A session must contain at least one document class. To use multiple document classes in a session, purchase the Document Classification add-on.
To capture and process documents, you must open and run a previously created session.
