Common Annotation Actions
You can customize how and where your annotations appear on your documents with the following options:
- Annotation properties: Edit the color and style of your annotation.
- Annotations Pane: View a summary of all of the annotations that have been applied to the document currently open in the document viewer.
- Display order: If your annotations overlap, configure which annotation appears on top or layered behind other annotations.
- Delete annotations: Remove annotations from a document.
- Linking annotations: Highlights, redactions, strikethrough formatting, and underlines can be linked so if the annotation is applied to the text it's automatically applied to the corresponding portion of the image and vice versa.
- Adding and viewing annotation information In an annotation's properties, you can add comments, view the creator, view the creation date, and see when an annotation was last modified.
- Private and protected annotations: An annotation marked as private is only visible by its creator. An annotation marked as protected can only be modified by its creator or the document owner.
- Resizing annotations: Many annotations can be resized.
- Rotating annotations: Many annotations can be rotated by 90, 180, or 270 degrees.
- Using tokens: Tokens can be used in the text of an annotation.
