Keyboard Shortcuts
The following shortcut keys can be used in the Workflow Designer:

| CTRL+N | Opens a blank Designer Pane. |
| CTRL+O | Opens a saved workflow definition. |
| *CTRL+D | Opens published workflows in the View Workflows dialog box. |
| *CTRL+S | Saves a workflow. |
| *CTRL+SHIFT+S | Saves all workflows that are currently open. |
| CTRL+SHIFT+I | Switches to the Selection Tool. |
| CTRL+SHIFT+P | Switches to the Pan Tool. |
| CTRL+P | Prints a workflow. |
| *CTRL+F | Opens the Find Activity dialog box. |
| *CTRL+L | Opens a list of all validation errors in the workflow currently open in the Designer Pane. |
| CTRL+Z | Will undo your last action. |
| CTRL+Yor CTRL+SHIFT+Z | Will redo your last action. |
| CTRL+A | Selects all available items. |
| CTRL+X | Cuts the currently selected item. |
| CTRL+C | Copies the currently selected item. |
| CTRL+V | Pastes the last item that was copied or cut. |
| DELETE | Deletes the currently selected item. |
| *CTRL+1 | Toggles the visibility of the Search Pane. |
| *CTRL+SHIFT+11 | Toggles the visibility of the Common Searches Pane. |
| *CTRL+2 | Toggles the visibility of the Search Results Pane. |
| *CTRL+3 | Toggles the visibility of the Toolbox Pane. |
| CTRL+4 | Toggles the visibility of the Properties Pane. |
| CTRL+' | Toggles between the regular and advanced portions of the Properties Pane. |
| *CTRL+5 | Toggles the visibility of the Error Log Pane. |
| *CTRL+6 | Toggles the visibility of the Minimap Pane. |
| *CTRL+7 | Toggles the visibility of the Rule Manager Pane. |
| *CTRL+~ | Toggles between Search Mode and Design Mode. |
| CTRL++ | Magnifies the display of the Designer Pane. This shortcut may only work with the + button next to the keyboard's number pad. |
| CTRL+- | Reduces the display of the Designer Pane. Designer Pane must be selected to use this shortcut. May only apply to the - button next to the keyboard's number pad. |
| *CTRL+SHIFT+C | Toggles compact layout which makes activities smaller, moves the activities closer together, and hides activity descriptions and summaries |
| *CTRL+W | Publishes a workflow. |
| *CTRL+SHIFT+W | Launches the Publishing Wizard. |
| *CTRL+DELETE | Opens the Delete Workflow dialog box. |
| *CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE | Opens the Delete Workflow Template dialog box. |
| *CTRL+I | Imports a Workflow Import File (.wfi). |
| *CTRL+E | Opens the Export Workflow dialog box. |
| *CTRL+SHIFT+E | Exports a workflow as a Windows Workflow Foundation file. |
| CTRL+TAB | Toggles between tabs that are currently open. |
| CTRL+ALT+D | Toggles the currently selected activity between enabled and disabled status. Disabled activities will be skipped when the workflow runs. |
| *F5 | Refreshes a pane. (Not applicable to all panes.) |
| F2 | Renames the selected item. |
| F10 | Opens the Options dialog box. |
| F11 | Opens/closes Full Screen Mode. |
| F1 | Opens Workflow Help. |
| ALT+F4 | Closes the Workflow Designer or Full Screen Mode. |
| Left Arrow | Selects the branch immediately to the left of the selected branch within a horizontally-oriented composite activity (e.g., the Conditional Decision activity). |
| SHIFT + Left Arrow | Same as LEFT ARROW, except that the previously selected branches will remain selected. |
| Right Arrow | Selects the branch immediately to the right of the selected branch within a horizontally-oriented composite activity (e.g., the Conditional Decision activity). |
| SHIFT + Right Arrow | Same as RIGHT ARROW, except that previously selected branches will remain selected |
| Up Arrow | Selects the activity above the selected activity. |
| SHIFT + Up Arrow | Same as UP ARROW, except that previously selected activities will remain selected |
| Down Arrow | Selects the activity below the selected activity. |
| SHIFT + Down Arrow | Same as DOWN ARROW, except that previously selected activities will remain selected |
| HOME | Selects the Designer Pane. |
| CTRL+PAGE UP | Scrolls up half of a screen length. |
| CTRL+PAGE DOWN | Scrolls down half of a screen length. |
| CTRL+Left Arrow | Scrolls left a little bit. |
| CTRL+Right Arrow | Scrolls right a little bit. |
| CTRL+Up Arrow | Scrolls up a little bit. |
| CTRL+Down Arrow | Scrolls down a little bit. |
| CTRL+HOME | Scrolls to the top of the workflow. |
| CTRL+END | Scrolls to the bottom of the workflow. |
| SHIFT+F10 | Shows the context menu for the selected activity |
*Not available in Full Screen Mode.
The following shortcut keys can be used in the Toolbox Pane:
| Shortcut | Description |
|---|---|
| CTRL+SHIFT+A | Toggles the "All Activities" category on and off. |
| F2 | Renames the selected activity or category. |
| ESC | When renaming, reverts the activity or category to its previous name. If the category was newly created, it will be automatically removed. |
| ENTER | Adds the selected activity to the current workflow, or, if you are renaming an activity or category, it will apply the name change to the activity or category. |
| DELETE | Deletes the selected activity or category. |
| PAGE UP | Scrolls the toolbox up one screen length. |
| PAGE DOWN | Scrolls the toolbox down one screen length. |
| Left Arrow | Collapses the selected category. |
| Right Arrow | Expands the selected category. |
| Up Arrow | Selects the item immediately above the selected item. |
| CTRL+Up Arrow | Selects the last activity in the previous category. |
| Down Arrow | Selects the item immediately below the selected item. |
| CTRL + Down Arrow | Selects the first activity in the next category. |
| HOME | Selects the first activity in the current category. |
| END | Selects the last activity in the current category. |
| CTRL+HOME | Selects the first activity or category in the toolbox. |
| CTRL+END |

The following shortcut keys can be used in the Search Results Pane:
| Shortcut | Description |

| F5 | Refreshes the search. Functions similarly to clicking the Run Search Again button. |
| SHIFT+F5 | Refreshes the selected row. |
