Keyboard Shortcuts for the Laserfiche Windows Client Document Viewer
The keyboard shortcuts listed in this section are designed to aid users when using the document viewer in the Laserfiche Windows client. (For information about keyboard shortcuts in the Laserfiche web client, see The Laserfiche Web Client Keyboard Shortcuts.)

ALT+DOWN ARROW | Open the next document in the folder. |
ALT+ENTER | View document properties. |
ALT+UP ARROW | Open the previous document in the folder. |
CTRL+1 | Show or hide the Image Pane. |
CTRL+2 | Show or hide the Text Pane. |
CTRL+3 | Show or hide the Metadata Pane. |
CTRL+4 | Show or hide the Thumbnails Pane. |
CTRL+5 | Show or hide the Annotations Pane. |
CTRL+6 | Show or hide the Electronic File Pane. |
CTRL+7 | Show or hide the Business Process Pane. |
CTRL + SHIFT + 1 | Show or hide the Fields tab of the Metadata Pane. |
CTRL + SHIFT + 2 | Show or hide the Tags tab of the Metadata Pane. |
CTRL + SHIFT + 3 | Show or hide the Links tab of the Metadata Pane. |
CTRL + SHIFT + 4 | Show or hide the Versions tab of the Metadata Pane. |
CTRL + SHIFT + 5 | Show or hide the Signatures tab of the Metadata Pane. |
CTRL+A | Select all. |
CTRL+C | Copy the currently selected item. |
CTRL+D | Create a new document consisting of the currently selected thumbnail or thumbnails. |
CTRL+F | Open the Find dialog box to search within the document's text. |
CTRL+G | Open the Go To dialog box to jump to a specific page in the document. |

CTRL+P | Open the Print dialog box to print the document. |
CTRL+S | Save all changes made to the current document. |
CTRL+V | Paste the last thumbnail cut or copied item. |
CTRL+W | Fit image to width. |
CTRL+X | Cut the currently selected item. |
CTRL+Y | Redo. |
CTRL+Z | Undo. |
CTRL+PAGE DOWN | View the next page in the document. Will not work if the focus is on the Fields tab of the Metadata Pane or if you are already viewing the last page in the document. |
CTRL+PAGE UP | View the previous page in the document. Will not work if the focus is on the Fields tab of the Metadata Pane or if you are already viewing the first page in the document. |
CTRL+SHIFT+PAGE DOWN | View the next page in the document and add the thumbnail for that page to the current selection. Will only work when the Thumbnails Pane has the focus and you are not already viewing the last page in the document. |
CTRL+SHIFT+PAGE UP | View the previous page in the document and add the thumbnail for that page to the current selection. Will only work when the Thumbnails Pane has the focus and you are not already viewing the first page in the document. |

CTRL+SHIFT+V | Save the current document as a new version. If the document is not yet under version control, this will place it under version control. |

CTRL+SHIFT+Y | Open the recent stamp menu. |
CTRL+SHIFT+Z | Zoom tool. |
CTRL + + (Plus) | Magnify the display of an image to twice the current magnification factor. |
CTRL + - (Minus) | Reduce the display of the image to half the current magnification factor. |
F1 | Open the User Guide. |

F5 | Refresh the images, text, and field data to reflect any changes made since you opened the document. |
SHIFT + F3 | Either:

UP ARROW | Scroll the image up. |
DOWN ARROW | Scroll the image down. |

PAGE UP | Scroll the image up by one window length. |

HOME | Scroll to the top of the image. |
